U4GM tips Farm Raid Fuel Canisters in Fallout 76 Fast

Stage 2 in Gleaming Depths is where a lot of teams get chewed up. Not because the drill is complicated, but because everyone starts panic-running for fuel while Mole Miners and Stalkers stack on you. If you want a calmer run, treat fuel like ammo: stock it before you queue. I usually top up my prep alongside other basics, like grabbing caps through buy game currency or items in U4GM Fallout 76 via U4GM Fallout 76, then I head out and farm canisters so the raid starts on my terms, not the game's.

1) Radiant Hills first, then don't linger

I start at Radiant Hills because it's still a quick yes-or-no check. You're looking around the outside edges, the kind of spots Bethesda loves to tuck loose junk into. Sometimes you'll get two clean pickups right away and feel like a genius. Other times it's empty and you'll be tempted to wait around. Don't. If it's dry, hop servers and reroll the area. The whole trick is keeping your loop fast so you're not "farming," you're just checking spawns efficiently.

2) Berkeley Springs for shelf clutter and easy repeats

Next stop is Berkeley Springs, around Bloody Frank's. It's a Blood Eagle mess, so plan on a scrap. Clear the camp, then slow down in the kitchen and storage corners. That's where the game tends to sprinkle tanks, cans, and all the other junk that shares similar spawn behavior. You'll notice you're not chasing some special glowing object; you're vacuuming up normal-looking items that happen to solve a raid problem later. Grab, dump the extra junk if you need to, and move on.

3) Rusty Pick and Summersville as the "no excuses" backup

When I want a cheap reset point, I hit the Rusty Pick. Free travel, quick sweep of the wrecks and nearby structures, done. It's not a jackpot location, but it's reliable enough to justify the stop. If I still feel light, I swing up near Summersville. The Snallygaster nests are a pain, yeah, but that area coughs up useful scrap and fuel-ish clutter if you check under stairs and around cooking setups. Keep it simple: loot, leave, repeat.

Make Stage 2 boring on purpose

Once you've got a stack, the raid changes completely. No one's sprinting off mid-wave, nobody's yelling "I'm out," and the drill stays fed while you focus on defense. The canisters are basically weightless, so carrying a pile doesn't wreck your build, and you can even spread the load across the team so one disconnect doesn't ruin the run. If you're missing pieces of your setup, it's the same mindset: get your supplies sorted before the doors open, whether that's crafting mats, ammo, or grabbing Fallout 76 iteams from Fallout 76 iteams so you're not improvising in the middle of a swarm.
