Finding and Farming the Weathered Crisis Fragment
The Weathered Crisis Fragment is dropped by the boss found in the Stone Citadel, one of three types of Citadels that appear on the endgame Atlas maps. Stone Citadels are recognizable by their stone pyramid or ziggurat-like appearance and are commonly located in mountainous, coastal, or Vaal City biomes.
The boss in the Stone Citadel is Doryani, a modified Act 3 boss, who guarantees the drop of the Weathered Crisis Fragment upon defeat.
To efficiently farm this fragment, players run high-tier (Tier 15) Citadel maps with highly modified Waystones—a special map item that can gain up to six suffix modifiers through corruption to greatly increase Waystone Drop Chance, which directly affects how many fragments drop per boss kill.
Atlas passives that boost Waystone Modifier Effects and Drop Chance, as well as usage of Precursor Tablets, are key to maximizing the number of fragments obtained per run. Reaching around 300% Waystone Drop Chance often yields two fragments per kill, and exceeding 750%–900% can yield even three or more fragments at a time.
Due to the difficulty increase from heavily suffix-modified Waystones, players should either have strong builds or party up to handle the extra challenge.
