The Cowardly Fate is one of three unique Fate fragments you need to collect in Path of Exile 2’s Trial of Chaos to unlock the Trialmaster boss fight. It drops randomly from the Trial of Chaos boss encountered at the end of a 10-floor Inscribed Ultimatum set in the Vaal Jungle region.
